Hello and welcome to my page, I'm Carissa, an Australian artist and creative mentor based on the Sunshine Coast. For more than a decade, art has been an important part of my life—both as a creative practice and a way to fully express my creativity.
My artistic journey has evolved through many mediums. I have previously worked extensively with acrylics on canvas and mixed media, embracing texture, layering, and expressive storytelling.
Today, I find myself in a quieter season of creativity, exploring the beauty of simplicity through line drawings on paper. This current body of work reflects my appreciation for minimalism, presence, and the emotion that can be communicated through one single, intentional line. My point of creative difference for my line drawing collection is that I use my opposite dominate hand and focus solely on the object that I am observing, without looking at the developing artwork.
