Based in Brisbane, I found my love for painting in 2020 during the global pandemic, a discovery that came after years of avoiding art altogether. As a child, I was told by an art teacher that I was terrible at it, a comment that stayed with me and kept me from exploring creativity for most of my adult life. It took the upheaval of a global crisis to inspire me to pick up a paintbrush, and in doing so, I unearthed a passion I never knew existed. Now, as a psychologist, I share my journey with clients, encouraging them to embrace creativity as a powerful tool for mental well-being. My work reflects themes of resilience, transformation, and the beauty of rediscovery.
