Artwork Description

Sunlit Flora - An immersive floral composition inspired by the warmth and quiet beauty of a sun-filled afternoon.

Drawing you into a garden-like world of layered flowers, organic forms and intricate pattern, Sunlit Flora where blooms and foliage flow across the canvas in Carley Bourne's signature nature-inspired style. From a distance, the composition has an almost abstract quality; up close, delicate hand-painted details and botanical forms reveal themselves throughout the work.

A softly considered palette of warm ochre, earthy brown and muted golden yellow is softened with creamy whites, dusty pinks and subtle touches of pale blue-green. Together, the colours evoke that beautiful moment when afternoon light becomes warmer and everything takes on a gentle golden glow.

Sunlit Flora brings the feeling of being immersed in nature into a contemporary interior — adding colour, texture and personality without overwhelming the space.
