This is a portrait I painted of Australian Actress and childhood friend Jolene Anderson for the 2019 Achibald Prize. The work was entered but unsuccessful in making the final cut. This work has since been in three seperate exhibitions including a joint exhibition called Northern Exposure 6 which showcases the best North Coast Artist at the Glasshouse Regional Art Gallery in Port Macquarie NSW. It has also been the feature work of my own solo show Physical Limits. I have since opened my own STUDIO GALLERY in the town of Gladstone on the Mid North Coast of NSW where this work hung for a number of months. This work really has launched me from hobbyist to Professional Artist.. You can find me @carlyinart
