BEHIND ‘ONE WISH’
This is the reproduction print of my 15th (#15) painting in the 'One Wish' series.

My first painting was sold at the Cranleigh – Capital Chemist Art Show. A major fundraising event for Cranleigh School, where funds were raised for equipment and programs for the school.
A successful event!

Since then, I have produced and sold a further 13 paintings featuring the same concept, which have all found their way to a much-loved home. I have now decided to help more people obtain an affordable, high-quality print using quality Ilford Galerie Textured Cotton Rag 310gsm.

ART PRINT
The print quality has captured the same depth from the Impasto medium that I work with. This provides a texture to my paintings, providing depth and enhances the colour when produced in print, which helps in maintaining the textured appearance.
This painting reflects the colourways that are trending for home interiors, with a sense of warmth and comfort from natures natural colour palette. These colours are flexible for most colourways in the home, bringing the outdoors in.

This art print comes with a Bluethumb 'Certificate of Authenticity' and my art print care instructions.

MEANING
My original painting was designed with a symbolic meaning of helping a wish come true. The Dandelion flower has a strong symbolic meaning from my childhood and many people will find their own thoughts and strengths from the Dandelion flower.

Artist Bio

Nature is the inspiration behind many of my designs, in particular flora has always captured my eye, as I explore new mediums to highlight the finer details. I mostly work with Impasto and Chromacryl on canvas board however, my illustrations are primarily used for motifs, that I also create for textile prints.

The majority of my paintings were sold at fundraising events for various art shows in the ACT region, with a few that I have given to family and friends over the years. I currently obtain the original paintings for the art prints I have listed on Bluethumb and the art prints are only listed with limited quantities available.

Art is in my blood. It has always been an outlet for finding quiet time for the mind, a peaceful moment and a process for reflecting on moments in life. I enjoy creating for others and showcasing my designs on Instagram, where I find my followers enjoy watching the process in the making. Perhaps it is their way to unwind and find a peaceful moment too.

In my early years as an expecting Mum, I decided to branch out my journey of sharing my art at local art shows. This gave me the time to unwind after a busy day and it was a great way to be involved with my community.

I am a qualified Graphic Artist/Desktop Publisher by trade and mostly self-taught in the arts. I studied arts in school and have attended a number of workshops over the years varying from lino and etching (print making), mandala classes, ceramics (Duncan certified), pottery and Raku firing. I enjoy exploring techniques and working with mixed media, which I continue to explore, as I seek to find new methods for my textured art. I follow the best practice in preparing my artwork and I am not afraid to explore the unknown by testing different mediums to see how they bond together. This process brings a textural feel to my art and enables my limited prints to capture the detail from my original paintings.

Please continue to watch this space, as I work towards releasing a number of art prints from my original paintings created for interiors. If you would like to view some of my work in the making, please visit my Instagram account at: https://www.instagram.com/c.w_finbok_publishing/

My Instagram page also has a number of fabric prints showcased, all which I sell with Australian fabric printers. It is my personal mission to combine my artwork - prints and fabric prints to help others achieve a seamless colourway and style for interiors.
