Sunset Beach is situated on Soldiers Point, Port Stephens NSW. It's a secluded beach with beautiful holiday houses not far from the pier where you find the well known Point Restaurant and The Boat Shed. The area is popular with boat enthusiasts. I took some reference photos when we got there and the sun was slowly going down, giving the sky and the water a beautiful salmon colour.
What inspired me was the serenity and beauty of the scene.
This painting is ready to hand with a strong wire at the back.
