Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

The Rocks is Sydney's oldest neighbourhood. It's where the European settlers chose to step ashore in 1788, making it the birthplace of Sydney. Markets, museums, art galleries, restaurants and pubs, tucked into its cobbled laneways, make The Rocks a vibrant and thriving entertainment precinct. Also, this is the place where you get the most spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.
This is an oil painting on a thin edge canvas. I created using mainly the palette knife and a limited colour palette. It is one of my favourite paintings.
It is ready to hang with a strong wire at the back. The colour theme continues on the sides so framing is optional but not necessary.
