I always loved painting interiors, and specially with water views. There are so many beautiful places like this one around Sydney that we are really spoiled for choice. I am planning on painting a few more.
Most of this painting was done with the palette knife in order to create texture. The sides are painted in a matching very light brown colour. Frame is not required. A strong wire is attached across the back of the painting for hanging.

People sitting under the umbrellas enjoying drinks. The buildings are white, old colonial buildings from the time of the Spanish and the Portuguese. There is a bicycle leaning against the wall of a building on the right side of the painting. Also a blue bench. Greenery and red hibiscus flowers cascading from the buildings.
