"I like to connect emotionally with the viewer through either the conceptual message or more abstractly the colour and line I paint. I have been exploring the emotion of printed line through the String Series body of work. Using acrylic paint on shoelace/string/twine/rope I create mood using the colours and the part random/part controlled line the string prints as I guide it down onto the canvas. "
