Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the beauty of the world around us.....from patterned shells, shimmery fish, crashing waves to gemstones, geodes & mineral rocks. I may have grown up a longtime ago... but the fascination never left. So today I love to create artwork in resin & acrylic, often with these themes.
Majoring in Jewellery Design & Photography, my Bachelor of Visual Art degree at City Art Institute, in Sydney led me to a career in jewellery design for many years... But my love for painting never left. Lately I'm excited by the new luscious materials available & LOVE customising gorgeous colours to suit the designs in my mind. At times, Im a bit crazy until I get the work out of my head & onto the canvas! Painting is my happy place... getting engrossed in the details, wondering where the time went! All in the pursuit of beauty that can be hung on someones wall.
