Aussie Family

Proud of my Australian background and the lifestyle I have enjoyed especially living in the outback where Kangaroos abound, pardon the pun. I used a couple of photographs, including one of my family's cattle property, to gather material for this painting, however I only selected portions of the photos to reflect the image I wanted to convey.

Carolyn Cave is an artist who enjoys using oils, acrylics, pencil and charcoal. She has a specific interest in landscapes and animals and has been commissioned by friends and others to do pet portraits and some landscapes.

Being a country girl, she prefers the natural moods and colours of the Australian countryside and its animals however is not limited to these as subjects. Carolyn chooses to follow the Impressionist style.
