Awesome Teddy

As an animal lover I admire the special nature of the big Grizzly Bear. Placing him in his home environment with the snow seemed a good natural approach. The bear I painted does not appear at all unhappy, just thoughtful. I used basic tubed oil paints with an oil medium and some linseed oil.

Carolyn Cave is an artist who enjoys using oils, acrylics, pencil and charcoal. She has a specific interest in landscapes and animals and has been commissioned by friends and others to do pet portraits and some landscapes.

Being a country girl, she prefers the natural moods and colours of the Australian countryside and its animals however is not limited to these as subjects. Carolyn chooses to follow the Impressionist style.
