Cooling Off

For anyone who has ridden a horse for a long period it is a pleasure to offer your horse a drink, especially beside a cool running stream. The background suggests that the horseman and his faithful dog have come down through the bush to reach the water's edge. The notion to lift the mood of the room is one of pleasant relief after a hard day's work and to transport your mind to a more gentle place. I have used standard acrylic tube paints, mixed with a little water to apply to a stretched canvas board.
