For me, this work is about the glory of the Australian landscape not its perfection, but its wildness, resilience and extraordinary colour. Loose, expressive marks and bursts of unexpected pink and yellow bring energy to the earth, reflecting those fleeting moments when the harsh landscape suddenly comes alive with colour and light. Outback Glory is my celebration of that powerful connection between land, light and emotion.
