Inspired by the Monkey Forest of Ubud, Indonesia. Green and calm, soft curved rocks, buildings and temples with the sunshine and water meandering through.

Artist Bio

Carre is a New Zealand, Australian, British hybrid and has been a graphic designer, a costume design and art gallery owner in London but mostly a painter all her life.
She was born into art. Her grandfather Richard Tennant Cooper,
was a British painter whose work is shown in The Victoria and Albert
Museum, London Transport Museum, and London War Museum.
Carre trained in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Costume design and worked extensively in these disciplines throughout her career.
Her first love has always been painting. She owned Cooper Locke Gallery in Hither Green, London showing her own work
and local artists work and sold all over the world.
In 2016 she returned home to Australia and now paints full time in her studio in Hamilton Hill working mostly
in large abstract oils.
