Artwork Description

A mother finally returns to her hometown after seven long years of marriage,
carrying her children and the weight of longing.
This painting tells the story of my grandmother —
a rare day when she walked back to her own mother’s house,
holding my mother’s tiny hand under the pale autumn sun.
The warm beige landscape holds generations of women,
their strength, tenderness, and the quiet hope of reunion.

Artist Bio

I am a Korean-born artist based in Sydney who paints memories of her mother and childhood in warm, emotional tones.
I paint emotional artworks inspired by the warmth of Korean nostalgia.
My painting bring back the fading memories of my mother's childhood- the scent of old Hanok house, the golden autumn sunlight and the quiet stories of everyday life.
Based in Sydney, I mainly work with acrylic and Mixed media, blending traditional Korean themes with a modern colour palette.
Through my art, I hope to share the gentle emotions and timeless stories that connect generations.
