Artist Bio

I’m Casie Ward, an artist based in the Hunter Valley, where I find endless inspiration in the rugged beauty of the bush and my garden in Stanhope. My work focuses on capturing the local plants and landscapes I love, using bold color and light to create vibrant, joyful pieces. Each artwork is a result of my own experimentation—exploring new colors, contrasts, and techniques to create visuals that feel interesting and lively.

My style balances between realistic and abstract, often inspired by photos I take myself. I enjoy bringing out a likeness but, more importantly, capturing the playfulness and color that makes each scene unique to me. My art isn’t necessarily meant to be deep or symbolic; instead, it’s a celebration of the natural world that surrounds us.

I offer both original artworks and commissions, and my pieces are available online and at local events. I hope my work brings others the same sense of joy I find in creating it.
