Self taught Artist, textile Artisan and mother.
I began my working life as a registered nurse, but after the opportunity to try my luck as a full time visual artist, I never looked back.
Then came the most important role of my life - motherhood. With a busy life as a stay at home mum, I struggled to have the time and place for artwork, but still desperately
needing a creative outlet, I soon rediscovered my love of fabric and sewing and started a small business selling my wares online.
Years later I continue with my textile business but find myself gravitating back to my original creative passion - Painting. I'm inspired by colour, movement, people and nature....there is very little in life that cannot be used as inspiration.
