Paradise

'Paradise' is a small painting of a colourful little bird enjoying the nectar from a Bird of Paradise. I took the reference photo while we were out walking in our neighbourhood. The bird was a minor bird but I tweaked him and added a little more colour. Who doesn't love some colour!

This piece is painted in oils on a solid, thick birch board. The sides are left natural and looks lovely just standing on a cupboard or side table. The piece is a 15cm x 15cm solid birch board, unframed, and is 3cm wide and stands solidly without the need to frame it.
