Artist's Anatomy

For this artwork, I took inspiration from the antique Greek sculptures, particularly the ones that don't have limbs. I have always been fascinated with the beauty of human anatomy; I want to represent the beauty of human nature by making an emphasis on the anatomical structures. I used the impasto technique as I wanted to add texture and depth. I also applied powerful and contrasting colours that make stand out the painting and add a feel of mystery to it.
