A little about me....in point form
While i was art school i was also a professional athlete.
After Art school a friend of mine who was a tattooist ask me to design him a tattoo. He mentioned i should give it a go
Got myself an apprenticeship which continued on for roughly 4 years.
Left to go out on my own/freelanced for around 1 1/2 yrs.
Decided to open up my own tattoo studio/ Gallery.... the ' Iron Flamingo'
Ran a successful studio for 7 years...but i was yearning to get back to my painting....it was all Ink and no Paint ;)
Finished up the shop and slowly got back into painting....but eek, my savings ran out...what to do!!!
Did a small business course and started my small Business ' Ink & Hide'......... I tattoo leather:)
So these days i'm building up my small business, creating tattooed leather goods/ artwork and getting back to my roots....painting, drawing and making a mess.
Also,
I love to capture movement.
I look to capture movement from different angles at different times from the object in focus
Capturing movement creates a story with multiple beginnings , middles and ends
I strive to capture where the object has been, where the object is at present and where it could go.
Movement can also stretch , flatten, compress time and capture those frames which the eye did not see.
