I am an artist originally from England. I grew up with a passion for creating art and went on to study illustration through a graphic design degree. In the '90s I relocated to Western Australia where I have lived ever since.

My works are imaginary, invented landscapes. I create a painting as an emotional tool to transport the viewer to a place in their mind; familiar yet dreamily unfamiliar.

My job as a painter is to puzzle out that place by continuous layering, re-evaluation and editing until the painting reveals itself.

I want my work to feel like a moment where the viewer can quietly pause, and experience a snapshot of joyful wonder.
