Artwork Description

This contemporary Abstract Painting ‘You Leave Me Breathless’ is inspired by Song of Songs 4:9. A biblical book of love poetry, Song of Songs tells the story of divine romance. Just as the book is inspiring and captivating, this painting has been created to inspire love.

‘For you reach into my heart. With one flash of your eyes I am undone by your love, my beloved, my equal, my bride. You leave me breathless - I am overcome by merely a glance from your worshipping eyes, for you have stolen my heart .” ~ Psalm 23:4

Artist Bio

Sydney born artist Catherine Vicki creates artworks inspired by spirituality. After being a professional photographer for 20 years she began painting in 2017. Her early mixed media work has a strong photographic element, combining photography and painting.
Her main themes explore love, loss and what lies beyond the natural realm. One of her earliest influences is 19th century photographer Julia Margaret Cameron who said: “If you work on your creativity you deepen your spirituality, and if you work on your spirituality you deepen your creativity”.

Catherine’s artwork has been selected for inclusion in 30 Art Exhibitions worldwide including Sydney, New York and Japan and acquired into various Collections.
“My work is an expression of love, life experiences and spirituality. My ideas usually come to me through a vision, then I outwork them practically bringing the vision to life." ~ Catherine

Her contemporary pieces are unique, high quality and absolutely collectable.

Catherine’s works evoke a sense of connecting with the beyond.
