This piece was inspired by the beautiful terraced gardens I have seen repeatedly, throughout my travels through asia. I just love the bright colours of the tropical foliage and flowers, and the way the gardens are manicured with such precision. Even steep elevations are overcome by masterful terracing, an idea which I suspect originates from rice fields
