This work is about memories, the text ‘My first love’ is collaged on the painting reflecting the feelings of love and freedom I experienced while riding my bike around Lollypop Creek in my youth.
With a formal education in Fine Art and Jewellery Design, I have been working, selling and teaching art from my home studio in Werribee for the past 20 years and love every minute of it! My passion is for colour and texture, exploring people and places around me to create artworks that celebrate life. My recent works explore the Australian flora and fauna with bold brushstrokes and bright colours! I create textures and three dimensional elements on many of my works with the use of mixed media additions including fibre, collage and polymer clay.
