My painting is a dreamlike image of the healing ocean, taking the viewer to a magical, tropical location, transfixed by bright fauvist colours, allowing the viewer to switch off from day-to-day concerns.
Cecilia's art is influenced by expressionism and post impressionism. She works from imagination, observation and memory. She paints intuitively and expressively, both figuratively and delving into abstraction, joining the two by a thread creating an exciting visual tug-of-war.
