Since I was young I have enjoyed making drawings and paintings of faces.

My drawings of faces are created from a mixture of memory, observation and imagination. Sometimes I imagine eyes and faces of unknown people, then think about who they are, what they are feeling or thinking.

Cecilia's art is influenced by expressionism and post impressionism. She works from imagination, observation and memory. She paints intuitively and expressively, both figuratively and delving into abstraction, joining the two by a thread creating an exciting visual tug-of-war.
