I was inspired by gazing at the Jacarandas and Wattle in bloom. There is something so joyful about the colour of flowers in Spring! I wanted to capture that immediate happiness. I painted the scene en plein air. 

A walk in a garden will always leave you feeling restored, bringing calm to your mind and body, as will a painting of a garden.
