I am Chandima Lalithkumar, born and brought up in Sri Lanka. I am a self-taught artist who calls myself a realistic artist and prefers to paint natural objects and nature in action. I developed my passion for art during my stay in Africa. I spent 15 years in Botswana and my inspiration for art came from the beautiful flora and fauna in Southern Africa. During my stay in Botswana, I travelled widely across Southern Africa and drew inspiration from what I saw. My favourite medium is oil on canvas, I also use watercolour and occasionally acrylic.
I relocated to Australia in 2018 . I love working with children and want to get more children in to art.
