Artwork Description

This unique and contemporary abstract painting breaks new ground with a frame placed in the centre of the artwork, surrounded by a captivating explosion of ultra marine blue and texture. The daring use of this unconventional artwork draws the viewer in, inviting them to explore the enigmatic composition. Signed discreetly on the back, the artwork encourages individual interpretation, making it a truly engaging and thought-provoking abstract painting. Framed in elegant oak, this one-of-a-kind creation leaves a lasting impression on anyone who beholds it.

Artist Bio

Charles Hebert has been painting for over 25 years and is a self-taught artist. He moved from Canada to Sydney in 2004 and around that time, he began having solo and group shows and also appeared as a finalist in some art prizes. His medium of choice has always been oil on canvas. He started with smaller canvases and now truly enjoys working with large canvases as he finds he can express himself better and his artworks translate more effectively on a larger scale. His artworks are heavily layered in order to achieve a higher level of depth, richness and energy.

Charles has a strong passion for visual arts. Art is how he communicates without words his deepest thoughts and strongest emotions. The works that he creates are derived from personal experiences and interests. He is inspired by architecture and the Australian landscape.
