Artwork Description

This vibrant still-life painting celebrates the pleasures of summer dining with a lively composition featuring freshly shucked oysters, juicy lemons, and a generous serving of lobster pasta. Set against a deep green background, the contrasting colors of lemon yellow, seafood red, and oceanic whites bring a sense of freshness and vitality to the scene. The bold brushstrokes and playful forms capture the essence of a relaxed, indulgent meal shared among friends or family. It’s a joyful homage to the simple yet luxurious moments that food can bring.

Artist Bio

I’m a self-taught artist who began painting in 2020. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion.

I love documenting life in my own way, using acrylics to capture the places, flavours, and moments that make everyday life feel special. My work is inspired by Australia’s breathtaking landscapes, native flowers, fresh seafood, seasonal produce, and the simple beauty found around the kitchen table.

Over the years, my inspiration has evolved. I first fell in love with painting Australia’s incredible scenery, then discovered a passion for native blooms, seafood feasts, and the everyday objects that quietly tell the stories of home. Every painting reflects a memory, a place, or a moment worth celebrating.

Each piece is painted intuitively rather than following a fixed plan, making every artwork completely original. I enjoy bold colour, thoughtful composition, and creating paintings that invite people to pause, smile, and perhaps remember a story of their own.

For me, art isn’t just about decorating a wall. It’s about preserving life’s beautiful moments, one painting at a time. Thank you for being here and sharing this journey with me. This is only the beginning.
