Artwork Description

I absolutely love when all the Jacaranda trees start to bloom- wherever I go I keep an eye out for the bright blue purple flowers popping up in the parks, along the roads and in gardens. It always brings me joy and this painting was inspired by that. Using a palette knife to create the textured path and brushes to capture finer detail, this oil is been framed beautifully in oak and is perfect for bringing that joy of the spring season into your home.

Artist Bio

Charlotte Moore, an emerging artist, has lived on the Gold Coast, Queensland, all her life. Her love of the area, its beautiful coastline and the hills which mark the transition from coast to country, inspire much of her work.

Charlotte’s primary medium is oil paint and she works with an impressionist style. Charlotte is inspired by time spent in the natural environment and also by places that evoke memories of happy times. Both light and colour play an important role in her paintings, conveying a sense of calm and peace that comes from being immersed in nature, while also evoking a familiarity of Gold Coast scenes and the Australian landscape.
