Artwork Description

Inspired by a glorious sunset, this piece was painted using a palette knife to create a rich texture with the oil paints. As the suns rays light up the field below and the clouds above, the piece captures all the glorious colours it creates, while the cool blue shadows hint at the end of the day. This piece is framed in oak and is prefect for bringing a glimpse of nature’s glory into your home.

Artist Bio

Charlotte Moore, an emerging artist, has lived on the Gold Coast, Queensland, all her life. Her love of the area, its beautiful coastline and the hills which mark the transition from coast to country, inspire much of her work.

Charlotte’s primary medium is oil paint and she works with an impressionist style. Charlotte is inspired by time spent in the natural environment and also by places that evoke memories of happy times. Both light and colour play an important role in her paintings, conveying a sense of calm and peace that comes from being immersed in nature, while also evoking a familiarity of Gold Coast scenes and the Australian landscape.
