I love the myriad of colours and textures which can be found in crustaceans and the striking colours and patterns on the shell of this creature really caught my eye. The contrast in textures between the soft, gelatinous tentacles and the hardness of the helmet were great fun to work on and I just loved his crabby, slightly outraged eye which seemed to express his annoyance at being interrupted in his cool, dark hiding place under the sea.
