This artwork is inspired by the solitary struggles of the Australian farmer in rural South Australia. I wanted to highlight the devastating impact of the recent drought on man and livestock. Although I could never capture the severity of the experience, I wanted to bring attention to those individuals who are battling with severe sorrow under the circumstances.
Rest Between Seasons, is part of a series that I will be exhibiting at the end of the year, if not sold prior, this artwork will be on display at Still Water Studio in Penola.
