Artwork Description

This work is layered with tissue pressed into canvas, creating raw textures that echo the tangled roots of a tree. Against a stark black ground, a root emerges—bleeding, alive—with wide, unblinking eyes on the left side of the painting. It is an image of awakening, a confrontation with the hidden shadows we carry. The piece invites the people to look inward, to face the darkness of life, and to find truth within the depth

Artist Bio

Based in Sydney, I create intuitively, letting the flow of paint and texture guide me. My process is less about control and more about trust—trust in the unseen, in the moment, and in the stories that emerge on canvas.

Spiritual inspiration is at the heart of my work. Each piece is a meditation, drawing on memory, trauma, and growth. I explore the fragile yet powerful spaces where happiness collides with pain, where healing and vulnerability coexist. My art is both personal and universal—rooted in my own journey, but reaching out to anyone who has walked through struggle and transformation.

Through bold marks, layered colour, and instinctive movement, I aim to capture fleeting sparks of emotion—moments that are raw, unfiltered, and real. My hope is that viewers find not just beauty, but recognition: a mirror of their own resilience, wounds, and joy.
