Artwork Description

This triptych reflects three stages of a brief but meaningful companionship with a young puppy.

The first panel captures the joy and curiosity of a new arrival β€” observing her personality, energy and playful nature, while learning the responsibilities of caring for her.

The second panel reflects a quieter stage, where familiarity brings ease, affection and a deeper bond.

The third panel acknowledges the moment of parting. There is sadness in saying goodbye, yet also happiness in seeing her grow into a more confident and mature companion.

The two circular forms appearing in the works symbolise an enduring connection β€” a reminder that certain bonds, however brief in time, continue with quiet presence.
