Artwork Description

Emma Gonzalez is an American activist and advocate for gun control. She became the face of high school shootings after surviving this turmoil and tragedy at her own school.
This painting depicts her strength, leadership and fight for gun control laws. She stands true to what she believes in. A strong, heroic and heart felt woman in her youth. Someone that I personally see as a voice of reason.

Cherie works with multiple mediums, creating intuitively in order to see where the marks take her.
Predominantly working on abstracts and portraiture, Cherie fuses her love of vibrant colour and celebrating strong female figures. She utilises art making as a meditation tool and a way to tap into her inner self.
