Ashes

After visiting NSW and travelling along the Hume Highway back to Victoria I passed some devastating landscape of some recent fires that had gone through many areas. The black and grey landscape was a reminder of the hot summers we can have in Australia.
This black and white piece has some amazing shapes and interesting areas for the viewer. Suitable for any decor.

Cheryl paints to allow colours shapes and textures to blend to create their own story.
Cheryl has been influenced by art all her life. As a child, her father was brilliant at drawing and this is where her initial interest started. She has been painting since high school and like many, raising children and managing her florist business meant her painting took a back step.

Cheryl has always been interested in design, having studied interior design and also studied Art at Melbourne University as well as other art courses over the years.

Happily retired, Cheryl is dedicating her time to her artistic abilities with paint to resume one of her lifelong interests.
