Artwork Description

'The Major Lift' is a beautiful textured abstract painting in soft and dramatic tones.

It was fuelled by the energy spent whilst seeking perfection... aided by K D Lang's version of Hallelujah, I hope it brings some joy to ya.

My work in general is inspired by and is a combination of music that moves my heart, popular culture and life's everyday events - a word, a triggered memory or the elements in a undiscovered street that catch my eye, to a wave crashing on a morning walk. I call these my lifescapes.

It is signed on the front cheryl H., with full signature and titled on the back.
It comes in a white gloss wooden frame, wired ready to hang on your wall.

Commission enquiries for this collectable and popular art are most welcome.

“I’ve lived a little. I’ve travelled a lot. My work is an expression of life experiences good times and bad. I begin with a feeling and end wherever the music and the paint takes me. I’m not trying to answer life’s riddles, it’s more like… this is how I’m feeling."
