Artwork Description

"Endearment" was a feature piece in my body of work called ‘New Beginnings’.

The energy of “Endearment” symbolises the gentle touch of a new beginning. A moment in time where hope blossoms with tenderness into a new love.

Artist Bio

My name is Cheryl, I live and work from my home base in the beautiful Hunter Valley region, New South Wales, Australia.

I love creating soulful fine art that is infused with symbology and meaning, and it brings me great joy when clients find a painting that speaks to their heart and soul. My works are held in private collections around Australia, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom.

I began my working career in Accounting and Finance and I worked in this arena for 20 years. I picked up my first paint brush in 2002, and what started as a desire to learn to paint has turned into a lifelong passion.

In 2002, I was inspired to paint a large Buddha piece. From the moment I began, a quiet sense of trust and flow arose within me. The image I was painting seemed to unfold naturally, guiding my process rather than being planned. This experience stayed with me and became something I reflected on and explored over many years.

Through painting, I found a steady inner guidance, one that supported me through major life experiences including illness, family separation and profound personal change. It gave me a deep knowing that even in our most challenging moments, we are supported and not alone.

Painting has become a new voice for me. As a young child, I was shy and quiet, as I suffered with a speech impediment. To experience the joys of painting, as an adult, has been deeply meaningful.

Over a period of 13 years I spent time studying, developing and sharing my work. I painted part-time around family and work commitments before launching my online gallery in 2015. Founded to share my deep love for painting and to inspire my children to always follow their passions.

My art is an expression of a subtle energy, presence and meaning. Each painting is layered with symbolism, shaped by feeling, vision and quiet inner listening, allowing the work to unfold naturally and intuitively.
