"Soulful Birds" was inspired by togetherness. The blue Birds hanging together amongst the knotty tree bark, true soul mates.
Hand cut glass pieces cut to size and shape to create texture, depth and reflection.
My passion in life is creating Mosaic / Mixed Media Art. I have been creating Mosaics for over 20 years. I'm self taught and have pieces all around the world that have been purchased or commissioned. I have several street installations in Melbourne that were commissioned in 2007 / 2008. My art has evolved over time to include the use of rusted metal to create texture, and depth to my pieces. I cut all pieces of glass or ceramic tiles by hand to fit the design. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it!
