INFINITY

This painting is part of my "Mother Nature " series which was inspired by my Mother's garden. Mum has an amazing 'overgrown ' garden, that had began to die because of the severe drought and water restrictions. A small area near the laundry survived on grey water; the plants germinated, grew and bloomed. The hollyhocks took over and grew about 2 metres tall. Amazing to see how determined mother nature is.
I was thinking about the infinity symbol when I was painting this work, and based the composition loosely on this shape. The constant cycle of life .
