This canvas painting is developed in layers with strong contrasting colours. Blue sky acrylic paint is laced with lines of flowing red with subtle lace of white pigment flowing through. The resin coating itself is layered with sections of solid resin flow that gives a sense of the butterflies breaking free from the surface. Golden speckles of pigment shimmering through the layers as some areas are misted and partially seen as we are invited into their world of flow and movement.
