Crowned In Color

Lions have always fascinated me. Their strength, resilience, and quiet confidence have made them a recurring source of inspiration, and this piece was created as a tribute to those qualities.
While the lion itself represents courage and inner strength, this painting also marks a personal creative journey. Traditionally, I work in a much more restrained palette, often favouring monochromatic tones and subtle contrasts. This artwork was my first exploration into a bold, expressive use of colour, allowing me to step outside my comfort zone and embrace a more energetic and contemporary style.

I have been painting for a little over 12 years as a hobby - selling my pieces on personal social media platforms.
I have recently created a separate page for my work for the public and I look forward to where this could take me.

Drawing came naturally, having a talented, artistic father who encourage my passion from childhood.
I completed a Certificate in studio art and have since moved into the Community Services/Social Work sector and have hope to combine my love for both fields into one - as an art therapist.

I enjoy experimenting and using many different mediums, however, acrylic has always been my go to.

My subject matter will vary on my mood and my state of mind.

I would love to take my hobby further if given the opportunity, and all support is acknowledged and appreciated.
