Paper Beach study

This work explores the beautiful contrasts that appear down by the River. The ocre colours of the sand, stones and rocks are defined against the luminous fluidity of the Rivers flowing hues. The reflections and tidal lines are visible and delicate as they swell in sets.

Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based.
