As the tide recedes at Ponrabble the patterns left behind meander and stream toward its body. The stones glisten in the soft sunlight and the ocre toned sand begins to dry. The river offers a kaleidoscope of colours and is ever changing as the cycle begins again. . ~ Painted on 100% cotton watercolour paper ~ Acid free Archival paper
Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based. . I work in both Acrylic on canvas or wood panel and Gouache on paper.
