Deserto tempestoso (Stormy desert)

A stunning diptych with an abundance of layers intertwined with a sandy texture.

Layers of neutral colours with hints of a shimmery pearl white, metallic gold and pewter that contrast perfectly with striking black and heavy sandy texture on a dusty neutral ground stretched canvas.
Each artwork is completed with a simple but elegant black frame that completes the overall look.

The pearl and metallic paint catches the eye and beautifully reflects the light and is a perfect contrast to he balance of the painting which has a matte look.

Each artwork (including the frame) measures 43.7cm x 54cm x 4.7cm
Please note one is slightly taller than the other being 54.2cm

Newcastle based artist Chris, has a clear passion for art. Her work is varied; making it characteristically uninhibited.
Creativity has always played an important role in her life, and she started early, winning her first art award in 1983, before moving onto other areas of design over the years.
Passionate about fluid and mixed media art, Chris works with a variety of mediums including resin. With a desire to make art more accessible, in 2018, Chris founded Allettare Designs, an art business that has a focus on creating distinctive, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Combining her love of art with her desire to create special pieces which are practical as well as beautiful.
Chris coined the phrase 'Art isn't just for looking at'!
Chris loves nothing more than sharing the experience with her clients as she brings their vision to life, delighting in their enjoyment as they receive that exclusive piece created especially for them.
2020 saw Allettare Dezigns announced as a finalist for the first time in the Local Business Awards for the Hunter Region
Chris is keen to share her passion for art with others and runs a variety art workshops from her studio in Cardiff NSW.
