Born into a family of frustrated artists, my parents organised the "Don't Give Up The Day Job!" charity art exhibitions in Perth. These exhibitions showcased people better known by other professions, who did art on the side, to reveal their hidden talents. I've been a creative in many forms - including writing, woodwork, ceramics, and some questionable amateur theatre - for many decades, though like those in the exhibitions just described, I'm only in recent years deliberately making my creations public. My Biro drawings have been well received in the past few years … rumours are also circulating that I am Big In Japan. The Sunshine Coast hinterland is now my home, and a nurturing haven for a creative soul. Currently I'm focused on finishing a novel (defiantly determined to include my own drawings), and a number of paintings of the Greek/Roman gods.
