African style with beaded earring

My roots are in Africa, and this portrait has been inspired by the vibrancy of Africa and the unique African fashion style. The beaded earring by my bead artist wife is adhered to the surface for dramatic effect. Small beads adorn the top of the dress. I recognise the unknown originator of the portrait image from where I obtained my reference.

I simply enjoy the creative process of creating art with brush and palette and digitally with photography and graphics. I have attended numerous workshops over the years to perfect my technique and learn something new but do prefer to let my own creativity take charge of the end result. I exhibit at local exhibitions from time to time and have been fortunate to have had some of my work purchased by private collectors.
